Youths successful in fencing business

The youth group that recently benefited from the pigad poultry related business program, doing very well. Currently, they are fencing a homestead at Mahusekwa Growth Point. Obey Gochera (30), Talent Negove (26) and Pedzisai Govha (27) are doing fencing business efficiently around Marondera, through the pigad agribusiness intervention project aimed at empowering youths into entrepreneurship.
The youths received the necessary and subsidized fencing equipment like chainsaw, stretcher and pig wire upon payment of a farmer subsidy of USD$ 450 in February 2020 to kick start their business.
They have made profits of over USD$ 1,700 of sales to date. pigad has advised these youths to take necessary measures of wearing face masks and washing of hands to protect themselves from the spread of Covid-19 during their operations.
