PVC workshop: Integrating the Smallholder Farmer

A workshop on the Sustainable Integration of Smallholder farmers in the Poultry Value Chain (PVC) in Zimbabwe was hosted by pigad in collaboration with the Goromonzi Smallholder Poultry Union Cooperative Society Limited on the 26th of March 2019. The event brought together farmers from Goromonzi, Marondera, Mrewa, and Gokwe and farmer representative bodies. The core objectives of the workshop were to document the participation of smallholder farmers in the PVC highlighting Opportunities, Bottlenecks, and Possibilities for Integration and craft recommendations for consideration in policy development.
