Agribusiness project now up and running

Of the 840 young adult farmers supported under the Agribusiness and Micro Enterprise Development intervention, Gift Faintesi Ward 5 and Sandra Matowa Ward 7 from Hwedza District are enthusiastic about their progress. They have completed their fowl run construction and kick-started their business as the 28 commercial layers have started laying. The farmers have proudly started picking the eggs and have shown their first trays of produce to the resident pigad field officer Gamuchirai Mudehwe. The farmers have started reaping early incomes from the sale of eggs which are all fully taken from the farm gate.
