Agribusiness project joint monitoring tour

Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development HQ officials visited smallholder poultry farming households from wards 5 and 7 of Hwedza District on the 25th of January 2022. The visit was meant to assess project progress and see if the organization is operating within the MoU set parameters. Sandra Matowa, Munyaradzi Madzivire and Misheck Mutambirwa’s poultry businesses were toured. The visited young adult households now have a perennial source of income. Furthermore, the households exhibited high knowledge on chicken management, record keeping, whilst Farming as a Family Business was clearly visible. Despite the households only receiving birds between August and October 2021, some of them have already expanded their poultry businesses through ploughing back proceeds.
