Background
Partners for Integrated Growth and Development (pigad), is seeking to recruit one or more highly qualified and competent Organisational Development Expert(s). pigad is a Local Development Trust that follows a holistic approach where relief, rehabilitation and development is concerned. This is a part time position, where the incumbent will be expected to work on a 20% contribution. The position holder(s) will be based in Harare.

Purpose of the position
To supervise all M&E activities, provide technical support to the project and improve the quality of project effectiveness. The consultant will build capacity of organizational staff, partners and communities in development programming and ensure that the project complies with the set standards.

The major responsibilities and areas:

Human Resources
Review the current human resources policy (and related policies) and check for coherence with the organizational expectations as well as the labor laws; Review all the HR related processes and forms (leave days, pay roll, …); Revising the project and pigad organizational organogram; Review the personnel contracts (and contracts files) and check for coherence with the labor laws; Representation and explanation to the board

Financial Management and Administration
Review the current Financial policy (and related policies) and check for coherence with the accounting standards; Review of the financial system and make necessary recommendations to the board; Representation and explanation to the board; Implement the adopted recommendation in liaison with the existing personnel resources; Internal full Audit report

Organizational Development
Facilitating the development of the organizational strategic direction through the setting out of Mission, Vision with the board members

Monitoring, Reporting & Evaluation
Review of the reporting system; Development and refinement of the reporting system; Reviewing the of pigad annual report and development of a professional Annual pigad report structure; Report writing workshop

Communications and Knowledge Management
Development of communication and visibility strategy; Packaging of lessons learned stories and templates for further capturing; Setting up of knowledge management system; Training of staff on knowledge management; Facilitating the active participation of the organization on social platforms

Qualification
Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences/Human Resources Management/Organizational Development or related area; 3+ years of experience in Organizational Development, facilitation, training, HR generalist, Change Management, HR process or consulting experience in a small to mid-size organization; Demonstrated expertise in design, development & delivery of policies, M&E and reports structures; Communications and Knowledge Management and/ or Financial Management and Administration structures; Demonstrated advisory experience on all levels

Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with colleagues, partners and senior leaders/managers; Ability to think critically and escalate appropriately; Strong project management and organizational skills; Ability to present information and tailor message to audience. Strong written and verbal communications with ability to concisely deliver key messages; Willingness to speak up/share ideas, comfort facilitating group discussions; Self-starter who is results-oriented and able to execute; Attention to detail and accuracy
